A resort-styled design proposal geared towards water-related activities. Utilizes a Maldives inspired design that incorporates buildings that seem to float over the ocean. Furthermore, encompassing a boating element that was inspired by Silent Yachts, an Austrian based company that offer's a modern approach to ship.

This resort represents the imagination of combining the idea of the midlives stile resort locations into the fabric of The Bahamas.
With the Bahamas being a travel destination that delivers world class beach’s and ocean side events it became natural to define a concept that took advantage of living venues that have a direct connection with the ocean, allowing travels to experience nature in a whole new way within the Bahamas.
The design consist of having an array of units that protrude outward into the ocean creating a fanning motion that is inspired by the natural vegetation of the Bahamian environment.
This design was also developed to have some form of focus on boating ventures, allowing for yachts to be integrated into the Maldives style of design and creating a sort of floating penthouse design.
The on shore units where designed to create more real estate ventures for the proposal, furthermore giving some form of guiding element that the Maldives styled homes can be anchored to.
In terms of unit orientation the project consist of 30 Studio Units, 10 One Bedroom Units, 5 Two Bedroom Units and lastly a resort center which acts as the medium that connects all other units together.
Unit Square Footages:
Studio - 650 sq.ft.
1 Bedroom - 1300 sq.ft.
2 Bedroom - 1900 sq.ft.
Resort Center - 3500 sq.ft.
The floor design layout for each unit was created with the ideas of having an open floor concept for the living room/kitchen spaces while the bedrooms were created around the idea of having a viewing angle that is always projected towards the open water.
